JUDGMENTS ENTERED IN CIVIL : CASES. CLAIM BY SAWMILLERS. i His Honour, Mr Justice Hosking, who presided at the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon, entered up judgment in the case E. C. Berkhani, J. Howard and William Robinson, snwmillura, of Halcombe, v. Oscar Andrews and Co., machinery merchants, Palmerston North. Mr Cooper was present on behalf of defendants. The plaintiffs’ claim was for £7OO, for alleged breach of contract and warranty. Judgment in favour of plaintiffs was entered at £l9O, with costs on (he lowest scale, and two extra days at £lO 10s per day. SCHWASS v. WOLLEILMAN. In the case John A. 11. Schwas-, formerly of Tokomaru, versus the trustees and execu. tors of the estate of the late Hermon Ludwig Wollermau, of Palmerston North, a claim for £1043 10s, for services allegedly rendered, and a counter-claim for £582 Is Yd, with £SOOO as security as a set-off, judgment was also entered. Plaintiff was awarded £IOOS. and the sum of £582 Is 7d was allowed on the counter-claim. Costs were awarded on the highest scale. This case was conducted by .Air Cooper for the plaintiff and Air Abraham for the trustees. IN BANKRUPTCY, On behalf of the Deputy Official Assignee, Mr Louglniau sought to recover certain money from Thomas William Cox, bankrupt. Decision was reserved, Mr Ougley appeared for Airs Cox. Air Knight supported a petition lo have John .Michael Judd, ol Dannevirke, adjudged a bankrupt. Mr Cooper opposed the petition on the grounds of insufficiency of evidence. His Honour, after hearing lengthy legal argument, reserved his decision. Mr Cooper, on behalf of John William Nilsson, moved a motion for an order of discharge from bankruptcy. His Honour granted a discharge, intimating that it would lake effect in 18 months, ('larence Alariindalo Smith, for whom Mr Cooper appeared, was granted a discharge from bankruptcy,
