REPLY TO RUSSIAN NOTE.
The following appeared in our Second Edition of yesterday: —

Received Alav 16. 1.40 p.m. GENOA .May 15, The sub-commission has adopted the reply to the Russian Note, based on the recommendation that die convening lowers represented at Genoa, excepting Russia and Germany, meet at The Hague on June loth for a preliminary exchange of views and to consider the line of action winch the commission of experts should adopt towards the Russians. They propose June 26th as the time when the Allied commission will meet die Russian experts. II no joint recommerdations are .submitted within three months, or if such recommendations are not accepted bV the government? within a month after the date'of_ the m ommendn--1 ions, each government will be at liberty to make a separate agreement with the .Soviet —A. and N.Z. cable.
