The ’advantage of the study of Law is so obvious as hardly to need exposition. For those who intend to practise as lawyers it is, of course, essential. While the host prizes at the Bar come to comparatively lew, nevertheless the profession is a remunerative one, and an industrious practitioner of good ability can count on a secure and comfortable livelihood, and a position of dignity and importance.
