APPEAL IN TIRTSCHKE CASE.

The Ross .appeal has been resumed, counsel tor appellant telling the (Joint that it was alleged that the witness, Ivy Mai-' Blows, had . helped the police to work up | the Crown case against, the prisoner. He i indicated that the fresh evidence would show that witnesses heard the girl screaming at a place dilierent to Ross’s restaurant, that a woman saw a man dragging the girl Tirtselike down the street, and that ■ no girl of the description of Tirlschke waV-j in Ross’s' restaurant on the afternoon oi l Hie murder.—Press Association.
