I Received March 17, 1 p.m. I DELHI, March 16. j Many mootings of Indians adopted resolutions of sympathy with and confidence in Air Montagu, who is highly popular with them. Gandhi, when interviewed, said he did not think Mr Montagu’s resignation would make much difference to the situation, but he thought Air Montagu deserved credit for his efforts. —A. and N.Z. cable.
