Ambassadors and .Ministers abroad have been instructed to inform the G»vernments to which they are attached ol Egypt's new status, and of the abandonment o) the Protectorate. Tln\v have also been instructed to point out the maintenance of the status quo of British special relations until Egypt embodies same in a direct treaty with the Powers.—A. and N.Z. cable.
