There was great interest in I lie meeting of Eurythmie and Envious in the Lloyd Stakes. Eiiryllimie was lying last, font lengths away, when three furlongs from home. Then he came with a surprising run and won brilliantly from W ish Wynne, who led early in the race. Eurythmio and lijs rider (Dempsey) were vociferously cheered. Knrylhmic has now won £32,616 in stakes. The last half-mile was done in 48see. Dempsey rode Stare, Lannion and Knrylhmic.
