The Full Court hoard an application to definitely fix a date for the hearing of the appeal by Ross against his conviction for (he Gun Alloy murder. The Crown counsel asked Iho defence to serve affidavits on the Crown. . Mr Brennan, for the defence, explained that he \vas unable at the present juncture to do so as fresh evidence was arriving daily, which needed investigation. Chief Justice Irvine said tlial appellant was not entitled to indefinitely suspend the hearing pending enquiries. The judgment was deferred till to-day-Brass Association.
