According to figures compiled by tlie dairy division of the Agricultural Department, I lie butler graded during (he past month totalled 103,790ewt, compared with 89,370ewi fee February, 1921, being an increase of 10,15 per cent. for the seven months ended February 737,781 cwt were graded against 548,057ew( for the corresponding period lasi year. Cheese graded during February last was 176,357 cwt compared with 131,729 cwt in February, 1921, the total for the past seven months being 892,915 cwt, compared with 872,235 cwt for the corresponding period last year. Mr Singleton, director for the division, points out that if the figures shown are converted into butter-fat equivalent, an increase of 20.96 per cent, production for the seven monthly period over the, corresponding 1920 1921 period is shown.
