D'KUII. March 7. General Bruce, nephew ol Capiain Bruce, has arrived at Darjeeling to complete arrangements iur the forthcoming Kreiesi expedition. It is understood that, in the ■vein of failure, number attempt will he made next vear. Specially picked coolies arc being iisseuiblcd for Ihe conveyance of . peeially packed food and oilier impedimenta lo the various bases and to 'he advanced ba.-e, which will be established a I a height of 23,000 feel. A partv of expert Swiss mountaineers will later join die expedition, provided with oxygen apparatus for use in die rarelied air in die upper regions ot the inoun.;iin.
