THE PACIFIC TREATY.
FIGHT IN UNITED STATES. WASHINGTON, March 7. Senator Whitehouse announces that President Harding will maintain his “hands oil” attitude towards the Senate i>i its fight against the Pacific Treaty. The President believes the treaty is the best that can he negotiated, and does not intend to allow the lobby to supplicate or admonish the Senate regarding it.—A. and N.Z. cable.
