The Union Steamship Company's 7000ton motor ship llaurtiki has undergone satisfactory trials on the Clyde. A speed of nearly 15 knots is expected, '1 lie oil consumption at full speed when hilly loaded will not exceed 16 tons daily. A. and N.Z. faille.
