BLAZE AT TIMARU.
TIM ARC. March 9. Early this morning the lire brigade was called to Wai-lti road where Hohnwooc House, owned bv Mr K. R- Unmess, and occupied by Mrs Lord as a boarding bouse, was found to be in flames. Ibe brigadeworked for 2\ hours belorc the Haines were extinguished, but not before extensive damage had been clone. The lire apparently started in ihe kitchen, but the origin is a mystery. AH the inmates escaped satcly. The building contained 12 rooms and was yn old wooden structuie.
