DEATH OP IMPRISONED MAN. LONDON. Dec. 28. Alan Bradbury left, an estate valued at £140.000. He was formerly a director of Bradbury, Son and Company, coni metchants, of Southampton, and died in prison while serving a sentence of two years, passed ill .Inly, 1920, for defrauding the Government of £52.000 by false income tax excess profits returns. The Coroner described the case as a hard one. Deceased was not aware of the frauds, but was legally liable for the actions of his employees.—A. and N.Z. cable.
