ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Dec '2O. A motor lorry, while, crossing the Grafton Bridge, got out of hand, and crashed on to the lootwalk, pinning Constable Bruton, who was passing, against the wall of the bridge. 11 is leg was very severely eruslied,-and will probably have to he amputated. Arthur Taylor went for a bathe at Riverland on Saturday morning and has not been seen since. His clothes were found on the hank. The missing man could not swim. Ho was employed in a city restaurant. DTJNEDIN, Dec. 2(5. Hector McDonald, aged 10 years, was drowned at Deep Stream on Sunday morning. The lad's parents reside in Duncdin. .'Joseph Egglestone, a cabinetmaker, was found dead outside his residence at 11 p.m. on Saturday. The medical evidence given at the inquest showed that death was due to heart failure, and a verdict was given accordingly. Georgina Dunnett Hunter, a widow, a 'iod 67, took a had turn at seven o'clock oii Sunday morning and died almost immediately. The medical evidence at the inquest was to the effect that deceased died from'heart failure, following senile decay., .A verdict was returned accordingly, ,
