Lamb was a shado easier than l«t week, whilst secondary mutton and all classes of beef were also weaker, Store sheep dropped considerably, as the lengthy dry spell is commencing to affect feed supplies, and influencing a big yarding of store sheep, the big i ritry of which assisted io tumble values. Vealers: A big supply with a drop in values. Runners £4, good vealers £3 2s 6d, medium calves 25s to £2 2* 6d, calves 5s to 20s. Dairy cattle: A big yarding and a good demand for cows coming to profit. Jersey third calvers" £2O, .springing heifers (first calvers) £ll to £ls, ordinary third and fourth calvers £8 to £l3, cows in milk £3 to £B, inferior cows £lO to £3 10s. Store cattle: Threc-ycar-old steers £s'ss to £5 12s 6d, 2-year-old steers £2 16s to £3 ss, 2-year-old heifers £2 lOsto £2 15s. Fat piss: There was no alteration in the values of store pigs. There was an average demand, medium stores bringing 52s 6d. small 42s 6d and small weaners 7s 6d.
