NORWAY'S CLAIM FOR SHIPS.
'■■: WASHINGTON,. April 5. \ It is understood that Mr Hughes has suggested to. Norway that her claims against the United 'States for ships requisitioned during the war should be arbitrated upon,by a permanent Hague Court. The United States' Shipping Board-has awarded Norway some 14,000,000 dollars, which Norway refused, claiming that allowance should be made for tho increased prices of tonnage- during the war—A. and N.Z. cable ■■■ • '''•'' '. !
