A London cablegram states that Ahe market, for hemp is' dull, March to May shipments being quoted at £42. . STOCK MARKET. Levin and Co. report:—At Fcilding sale on, Friday a much better tone existed and ilie prices improved as the sale progressed, though prices still remain low. There was much more competition for both sheep and cattle and very little was turned cut unsold. We quote;—Good woolly lambs 8s lOd, medium woolly lambs 6s 3d, fat and forward black face lambs 11s, empty stud two-tooth Southdown ewes lam, empty stud four and six-tooth ewes 30s 6d, empty stud f ,nr-year Southdown owes 21s to 31s, .lourtooth to four-year empty owes 12a lOd, sfore cows 17s bd, two-year steers £2 8s 6d to £2 10s, 2»i-year steers £3 6s.
