At the monthly meeting oi the Wanennui Board of Education last evening it was decided to ask the Government architect to confer with the two local members of the Board with reference to the new infant school to bo erected at College street. Members'said they ten that the matter had been "hanging fire" too long, and that a conference with the architect would perhaps hasten the erection of the- long-needed addition The plans in connection with toe Campbell Street School have been approved, but as yet nothing more has been heard of the matter.
