CUNARD LINE’S LOSSES.
LONDON, Jan. 28. At the Old Bailey a stevedore was sentenced to 12 months’ hard labour loi pihciiug from a Canard liner in the Thames, uid two ship’s firemen w> ro sentenced, to four months, and a third to six mouths on a charge of receiving stolen goods. It wa. stated that pilfering in the Black Sea servico during tno last 12 months had amounlou to over £20,000,—A. and N.Z. cable.
