AFGHANISTAN’S ADVANCE.
BRITISH MISSION AMAZED.
Received January 31, 9-10 a.m. DELHI. Jan. 30. The British Mission to Kabul was entertained at the Amir’s Palace on a royal scale. The Amir made felicitous speeches, referring to the possibility of an early treaty between Britain and Afghanistan. Iho Mission was amazed at modern developments in the country in the way of roads, engineering and electricity. The Bolshevik envoys at" Kabul are still in disfavour.— United Service.
