WRECKED OUTSIDE AERODROME.
LONDON, Jan 29
Airship R 34. which met with an accident off (ho Yorkshire coast, later, however, reached the aerodrome at_ Howdcn. but owing to her crippled condition she bump*- t several limes in landing. Tlio crew were compelled to jump 10 foot to earth. The airship was then moored for the night as it was impossible to house her. A gale however, arose, and it became impossible to keep her under control and the envelope' collapsed and the ship sank to the ground a mass of wreckage.—A,. and N.Z. cable. [The R 34 in July. 1919, flew from England to New York and back.]
