COLD MINE DISPUTE.
AN AMICABLE SETTLEMENT
(Peb Pbess association.) REEFTON, Feb. 18
The labour dispute between, the employees and the New Big River Gold Alines, which has been in progress since Christmas, was settled amicably to-day at a conference. All underground men will receive an advance of 2s; timbermen, blacksmiths and engine drivers 2s, ami surface battery employees Is 6d per shift. Housing accommodation will bo adjusted between the union representatives and the management. The miners will resume forthwith.
