MAHSUDS FAVOUR PEACE.

In connection wuh the Mahsud campaign an incident occurred on the 13th. A. tower - in Kotkai collapsed, killing fourteen Indian rankers and injuring seven. Tho Maksuds held a Jirgati at Kanugram on. the 14th, when ail sections reported in favour of peace and a letter was sent asking for a suspension of bombing and stating that rifles and tribal security for the maintenance of peace would be brought into the linos within a few days, and that the captured rifles would bo surrendered within three months.
