A TRAMWAY HOLD-UP.

A temporary hold up occurred on the electric trams this morning. It is stated that a conductor was dismissed during the recent curtailment of the service on the allegation I hat he neglected to collect faros on a short section’. Other employees resented such summary action, and the service was suspended until the man was reinstated pending an investigation into the merits of iho ease.
