LIQUOR ANOMALY.
IMPORTATION ALLOWED
VANCOUVER, Doc. 20,
An important feature of a new order passed by the Canadian Cabinet is that it rescinds the wartime restrictions against liquor. The result will bo that inter-provin-cial traffic in whisky will bo resumed, though it will not effect prohibition in each province. In future Toronto people can order liquor for homo use from Montreal, while Winnipeg will send to Calgary and Vancouver and vice-versa. Train loads of liquor are waiting shipment westward from Montreal. Extensive imports arc also' planned from Hongkong and other China coast ports, where large'stocks of Scotch whisky are reported to exist.
