THE SUGAR SHORTAGE.
RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN INDUSTRIES. TO TERM FT JAM MAKING, Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 10. The Prime Minister stated to-day that Cabinet had decided that restrictions would he imposed upon such industries as brewing and sugar boiling during the fruit season so as to Wye as much sugar as possible for jam making and fruit preserving.
