FACILITIES IN LONDON.

A recent statement that the Port of London Authority had placed a special wharf and other facilities at the disposal of the Australian fruit trade is described as incorrect. The Authority is prepared to grant certain facilities, provided no monopoly is held by one firm. APPLES FOR ENGLAND.
Auitralim-New Zealand Cable Association LONDON, Jan. 7. It is expected that there will be large arrivals of American and Canadian apples in England well into May. The International Apple Shippers’ Association estb mates there was tho equivalent of 30,000,000 oqsos in storage in the United States and Canada in the middle of December.
