In connection with the official decision that a German employed at the Simmer Deep mine at Johannesburg, with whom (lie British miners refused to work, was under agreement and entitled to remain, the strike committee is dissatisfied, and has issued a statement that many employees have decided to leave the mine, m preference to working with the Gorman. The municipal employees at Durban have -truck owing to the dismissal of the assistant town clerk. The tramway and telephone services are suspended.
