REMARKABLE BANKRUPTCY. LONDON, Jan. 7. A remarkable bankruptcy is reported of a well known foreign firm operating on the rubber market in Minciny Lane. Tho London partner sold rubber to the value of £2,000,000, which advanced from 2s to 2s lOd, involving the loss of over £500,000. This partner then absconded. The chief loss falls on several large linns which resold the" rubber, which the bankrupts cannot deliver. It is expected the debtors will pay 2s hi tho pound.
