ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES
Yesterday morning a man- named George Wilkinson was found dead in Scots College -rounds at Miramar. The deceased; who was fifty-two years of age, was employed at the collette as a carter, and while working in a field is understood to have dropped dead through heart failure—N.Z. limes.
Per Press Association. TAUMAHUNUI, Jan. 9. At the inquest on Claud Bentizen, who was found near the Kaiteke creek with his head blown off by gelignite, a verdict was returned that the deceased committed suicide while mentally unbalanced. Mrs Beaumont, a board-inghouse-keeper, handed the- police a bag containing £241, which tho deceased told 'her to kcepif he never returned. She will make a claim for the money.
