The Antarctic explorer Charcot thinki thfit the British South Pojar aerial ex pedition' is feasible. It would only yi !rl scientific results if able to stay ;:t t]i : Pole and fly above it, mnkir.g magnetic, geographical, and aerial discoveries. Charcot does not anticipate landing difficulties. This problem has been.forseen and solved by the adoption of broad skis affixed to the machine. The real risk would come from wind and snowstorms.
