On Monday and Tuesday next the public :,if Palmerston North will have opportunity of witnessing a complete soldiers’ ■oncert party by'name, the “Kiwis.” Like heir comrades the “Diggers/’ who appear'd hero recently the “Kiwis” have done a •onsiderablo amount of patriotic work in he Old Country, foremost of which was a special effort on their part to swell the funds of St. Dunstan’s Hospital for blind soldiers, .which needless to say benefited by a large sum. ’['his company have toured right through England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and France, and just prior, to sailing for New Zealand they played for seven afternoons and evenings in London to packed houses. .Included' in this merry band of entertainers is the celebrated “Kiwi” quartette, who had the honour of being recalled seven times 'on their last visit to Paris. The “Kiwis” have only been back in New Zealand a few weeks and opened their tour in Auckland on the 20th December, whore they pluyei| to packed houses for seven nights.
