ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

A quiet but pretty wedding took place at All Saints’ Church,. Palmerston North; on December 31. when Miss Kva Dorothy Cupp, thirty daughter of Mr ami / Mrs W. J. Capp, Kairanga, jyas married to Mr John Baird Taylor, oldest son of the late Robert Taylor and Mrs Taylor, Granshaw, Bally Grainey, Co Downs, Ireland. Rev. 11. G. Blaekbnrne performed the marriage ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, was daintily gowned in white crepe-do-chene, with pearl'trimmings, wore the usual veil' and orange blossoms, and carried a bridal bouquet of j white roses and maidenhair ferns. Sho was attended by her three sisters. The bridesmaids, Misses Ivy and Alice, wore dainty pink voiles trimmed with black, and black hats with pink roses to match; they also carried bouquets of pink roses and maidenhair ferns, and little Miss Daisy Cupp acted as flower girl, carrying a basket of pink carnations. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a handsome handbag* and golden brooches were given to each of the bridesmaids. Mr A. J. Coyal acted as best man, the breakfast was served at the bride’s parents, and later the happy couple loft foV Rotorua, whore the bridal trip -is to be spent. The bride’s travelling dress was a navy costume with hat to mutch. Many useful presents, including several cheques, were received by Mr and Mrs Taylor.
