NOVEL STRIKE.
MASTER TAILORS OUT. LONDON, Dec. 13. A novel tailoring; strike has been declared in London. Eight hundred East End master tailors demanded a. 25 per cent, infcreaso from merchant tailors, to meet the cost of granting a 48-hour week; Tly demand was refused, and the Master Tailors’ Federation decided to cease work. Twelve thousand members of the'Workers’ Union promised, to support the master tailors.
