MILNER COMMISSION AT WORK. MUCH USEFUL WORK ACCOMPLISHED. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association Received December 51, 8.55 a m. LONDON. Dec. 30. The Daily News’ Cairo correspondent States that the Milner Commission has accomplished much useful work in examining the methods of various Government departments. Even the Nationalists are beginning to assist the Commission. The extremists insist on complete Egyp : tian independence, but the Commission hopes to arrange a treaty under which Egyptian representatives will agree to possibly a measure similar to the India Bill.
