POSITION OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES,

Tho New York Times’ Washington correspondent states that tho second National Industrial Conference made a statement that no Government employees concerned in the administration of_ Justice or Public Safety should be permitted to join organisations which authorise the use of strikes. The conference suggested the formation of twelve regional boards of inquiry for tho adjustment of industrial disputes, with a national industrial tribunal, which should hear appeals from regional boards.
