LABOUR CONFERENCE.
THE JAPANESE DELEGATES. FEARS REGARDING RECEPTION. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright Austnlian-New Zealand Cable Association. Received December 29, 9.20 a.m. NEW YORK, Den. 27. A United Press message from San Francisco states that the Japanese delegation to the International Labour Conference- has sailed for Japan. 'The members are uneasy 'concerning their probable reception there. The Labour delegate, Ma:umoto, arranged to be spirited away from the vessel in order to avoid a repetition <if the mob's demonstrations when they opposed the delegates' departure for America. Labourites are indignant at the news that the delegation obtained a concession of a nine ana q-half .hour day for Japanese labour against an eight-hour day for European and American labour.
