THE LATEST FIGURES
Several additional official returns of votes cast at the. licensing poll reached the Electoral Department during tho week-end. They include the result of tho voting on the transport- Ruahine. Tho returns increase the combined Contim.ance-SUito Purchase majority ' against Prohibition to ZZIH. Tho total number of votes so far accounted for is 528,706, and of thisi 263,244 have been cast for Prohibition. The number of votes required to give an absolute majority for Prohibition would bo 264,354, and the Prohibition total falls short of this by 1109.
