FIRE IN AUCKLAND.
(Per Prebs Asson/moNd AUCKLAND, Dec. 27. A fire between two and throe o’clock this morning .destroyed a ton-roomed house aiul contents at Mount Eden road, occupied by Mr John F. Smyth and family, who escaped in their night attire. The loss included £lB5 in money. The damage is estimated at £ISOO, and the insurance is about £SOO. '
