(P«b Fbess Association.) WESTPORT, Dec. 26. At the Westport Boxing Association’s tournament this morning Jack Griffin (9st 91b), of Greymouth, defeated young Murphy (9st 71!>). At Millerton. in the professional match of 16 rounds for a puree of £SO, Murphy was nearly outed in the first round, and had several precarious moments in some other rounds, and finally succumbed in the ninth.
