AUCKLAND TRAGEDY.
TWO YOUTHS CHARGED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLADN, Dec. 23.. At the Police Court, Harold Percy Stapleton, 21 years of age, and Alexander Coppell, 20 years of age, were -charged with having murdered Frank Brasier, licensee of the Clarendon Hotel. . Dr. Laureston described Brasier’s in- t ' juries, and said that the fracture of the skull could have been caused by a fall after a blow had been struck. Dr. Bull, who made a post-mortem examination, said that tho cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage, following a fracture of; tho skull. Possibly it was a blow that fractured the jaw and fractured the skull, but more likely the latter was caused by a fall with some violence. Bra-sior-.wns a powerfully built man, and it was evident ho had been handled severely.
