The Board of Trade has fixed the minimum living wage for adult female workers at 395. , I- u Tho Australasian Coal and Shale Employees’ Federation ballot resulted as fol lows:-For the abolition of the contract system 10,179. against 3394: for tho sixhour day 12,500, against 1424; for a one big union 9832, against 4855.
