PUBLICATIONS.
Messrs WhitcomCo and Tombs, Ltd., of Christohurch, forward us a, number of booklets that are. a credit alike to- their authors and publishers. Two are by Abater McClume and are delightfully illustrated by Mice Poison, the titles being "TJie Enchanted Packman" and "The Adventures of TobV and Sphinx in Flowerland. 1 hey are fai'rv tales of the kind that always delight children, and are so well written that they will interest adults also., Another of the" booklets is also a fairy stery from the pen of Edith Howes, entitled "Little MakeBelieve," and it too is illustrated by Alice Poison. Three small books of poetry; arc written by Isabel Maud Peacocke, the wellknown New Zealand versifier, and are artistically illustrated by Trevor Lloyd. Tliev are "Piccaninnies" and- the Bonny Book of Humorous Verse Nos. 1 and 2.
