THE GENERAL ELECTIONS.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dot:. 23. The official count of Auckland Central gives Mr W. E. Parry a. majority-of 785; for Eden a majority for Mr C. J. Parr of 1847. In Auckland East, from about 400 absentee votes, 343 counted gave Mr Clutlia Mackenzie 160, Mr A.M. Myers 133, and Mr Way SC, bringing Mr Myers' majority down to 92.
