WORK AT ELLERSLIE, Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Deo, 23. Tho work at Ellorslio this morning was for the most part confined to steady pacing on tho tan and on No. 3 grass track. Mill o’ Gowrio ran six furlongs in 1.19, and Rokanui tho same in 1.20 1-5; Multivo, Entente Cordinlo and Sonnino finished in that order over four hurdles; Explorer was given tho same task, but stopped twice, though ho got round eventually; Red Ribbon did strong work on the tan and pulled up sound; Battle Song also did steady work, and is apparently alright.
