Bir,--In connection with my annual Christmas appeal on behalf of tho children of distressed families, 1 have to thank Mrs Lionel Abraham for the sum of £53 17s 7d, being proceeds of tho entertainment organised by. Miss Campbell, of Wellington, and Miss Orboll. of Palmcrston North.
