THE ORIENT LODGK
N.O. Bro. R. Jordan, presided last evening over the half-yearly summoned meeting .4 ' the Orient Lodge. Two new members were initiated and one candidate was proposed for Oddfellowship. i’.S. Bro. Browser, of the Star of Waikato Lodge, No. 8, Hamilton, was present at the mteting. A communication was received from the Pyramid Lodge, Wanganui, asking for a conference of the'lodges of this order to discuss a number of questions. R.was resilved to acquiesce to the Wanganui lodge s suggestion, ■ T lie following officers were elected for the ensuing half-yearly period: N.G., Bro. J. Boll; V.G., Bro H. Thomson; F. S. Bro. J). Smilließ. S. Bro. 11. Webb; treasurer, Bro. F. Buck; Dispensary Board, P.G. Bro. J. Ax, and P.G., Bro F. Buck. The installation of officers will take place on January 9, 1920. The secretary has been instructed to invite members of ail the lodge; in the district to the ceremony.
