FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.

N.G. Bro. T. Bruce presided over the half-yearly summoned meeting of the Loyal Manawatu Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., held last night. The meeting was well attended, and three new members were initiated. The following officers were elected for the coming half-year:-1.P.N.U., P.G. Bro. T. Bruce; IWG., Bro. S. Wright; V.U, P.G. Bro. R. S. Watson, E.S., Bro. T. A. Rodders: W„ P.G. Bro. J. A. Wimskill.
