LIFE LOST FOR A COIN.
A 16 year-old boy, 11. Foyles, was killed bv a lift while attempting to recover a coin he dropped at the post oflioe superintendent engineer's office, London Bridge. The coin rolled into the well of the lift, and tlie lad went after it and was struck in the' back by tho balance weight of the lift as it descended.
